WHAT ARE GOLD CHIPS?
Gold Chips is a reward given for frequent play at TheGreek Poker. As you play in either Ring Games or Tournaments you earn Frequent Player Points (FPPs). FPPs accumulate to turn into Gold Chips (see How Exactly Do I Earn Gold Chips?). Once you earn a Gold Chip, it is yours to keep. Redeem it whenever you'd like or save it and collect more.
Accumulated FPPs convert to Gold Chips at a descending rate. Each calendar month after receiving your first Gold Chip, you will need fewer FPPs to earn your next one. Please note that the earn rate is reset at the beginning of each calendar month.
HOW EXACTLY DO I EARN GOLD CHIPS?
A ring game reward for players of all stakes and levels giving access to thousands of dollars in monthly prizes.
When you play at real money games or pay tournament fees, you will earn Frequent Player Points (FPP). As you accumulate FPPs, you begin to fill in your Gold Chip Meter. (In the TheGreek Poker software, this is displayed on the poker tables under Info tab or also available in Rewards section, under Gold Chips tab)
Once you earn a Gold Chip, it is yours to keep. Redeem it whenever you'd like or save it and collect more.

Once you've earned your first Gold Chip, you'll notice the white Target Bar shrink smaller.

5th Gold Chip Bonus
Up until the end of the calendar month, if you earn a 5th Gold Chip, you'll also earn a bonus Gold Chip. You can earn this bonus Gold Chip once each month.
6+ Gold Chips
For the rest of the calendar month, you'll be able to earn as many Gold Chips as you'd like at the lowest Target Bar setting possible (the 5th Gold Chip target amount).
WHERE CAN I CHECK MY GOLD CHIPS STATUS?
In the Rewards section of the TheGreek Poker Software, under Gold Chips tab, you can check how many Gold Chips you currently have and how many FPPs you need to earn towards the next Gold Chip.
WHAT CAN I DO WITH MY GOLD CHIPS
You can use your Gold Chips to buy in to Gold Chip Tournaments. In the TheGreek Poker Software,
visit the Gold Tab within Tournaments Lobby for today's full listing of satellite to our biggest guarantees,
and live event qualifiers. Starting at 3 Gold Chips.
Also, TheGreek Poker offers 'Gold Chip Lover' Sit & Go events offering both Gold Chip buy-ins and prize pools. It's a great way to double, triple or quadruple your Gold Chip stack for use in larger Gold Chip buy-in events. Gold Chip Lover tournaments run daily under our Gold tab with buy-ins starting at only 2 Gold Chips.
HOW DO I EARN FPPs?
When you are dealt cards at any real money ring game, you'll earn 1 FPP for every dollar raked. In tournament play, you'll earn 7 FPPs per dollar in tournament fees paid. The FPP system is accurate to the cent. For example, if your table was raked $1.22, you'll earn precisely 1.22 FPPs.
