College basketball betting fans will be warily eyeing a conference that has lost much of its muscle from a year ago. Straight up (SU), against the spread (ATS), and over/under (O/U) records for the 2006/07 season are in parentheses:

MICHIGAN STATE (23-12 SU, 17-13 ATS, 11-18-1 O/U): All five starters, including G Drew Neitzel (18.1 PPG), return to East Lansing.

INDIANA (21-11 SU, 14-15 ATS, 16-13 O/U): Forward D.J. White (13.8 PPG, 7.3 RPG) gets outside help from heralded freshman G Eric Gordon.
